5 probiotic cultures with psyllium plus prebiotic inulin
In this dietary supplement from Fairvital, the probiotic bacteria Bifidobacterium breve, Lactobacillus acidophilus, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum and Lactobacillus rhamnosus have been combined with psyllium and inulin.
Psyllium husk: fiber
Psyllium contains swelling mucilage. Due to their very high water-binding capacity, the soluble, mucus-forming dietary fibers can absorb many times their own weight in water and thus form a colorless gel.
A high-fiber diet causes the stool to swell up and promotes intestinal activity. Also make sure you have sufficient fluid intake and enough exercise. Please note that sufficient fluid intake is very individual and depends on various factors.
Probiotic cultures and psyllium can help
Probiotic bacteria repel unwanted microorganisms and produce dextrorotatory lactic acid in the intestines by breaking down sugar (carbohydrates).
Prebiotic inulin
Inulin is a water-soluble fiber. The polysaccharide is indigestible for the human organism, but as a prebiotic it contributes to the increased formation of probiotic cultures in the intestine and serves them as food.
