EM Highlights with Litti (As of 24.06.24)

As a former football world champion from 1990 and a passionate observer of football matches, I am following the 2024 European Championship with great enthusiasm. It is always fascinating to watch the development of football and the performance of the new generation of players. I keep noticing that the game has become so much faster.

As a former national player, I naturally have my fingers crossed for the German team in particular. Germany is currently buzzing, and the atmosphere on the streets is outstanding. The team has so far impressed with strong team spirit and tactical discipline. The impressive victory against the Scots and the win against the tricky Hungarians have made me very optimistic. We struggled for a long time against the strong Swiss team and only managed to equalize with a lot of luck. Nevertheless, winning the group revives the dream of the title even more. I am already very excited for the round of 16.

Another highlight is the atmosphere in the stadiums. After the difficult years of the pandemic, it feels good to see full stands again and to experience the passion of the fans up close. This special connection between players and fans is what makes football so unique. The excitement and emotions transmitted from the stands to the field are incomparable.

The 2024 European Championship has so far offered everything a football fan's heart desires: exciting matches, surprising results, and outstanding individual performances. Many games have shown once again that anything is possible in football and that no team should be underestimated.

I am looking forward to the remaining matches and am curious to see who will win the title in the end. One thing is certain: this tournament will remain in our memories for a long time and will once again show why we love football so much.
