Acerola: rich in natural vitamin C
Acerola (lat. Malpighia glabra L.) is also known as Acerola cherry or Jamaica cherry. The reason for this is the external similarity to the cherry known to us.
The acerola fruit is one of the best sources of vitamin C in the world; 100g juice can contain 1400 - 4500mg vitamin C.
Acerola also contains beta-carotene, B vitamins, flavonoids, anthocyanins and minerals.
